Sziget Festival Announces Second Wave of Artists for 2025 Edition

Budapest’s Óbuda Island, affectionately known as the “Island of Freedom” during Sziget, is gearing up for another massive celebration of music and culture. The Sziget Festival, one of Europe’s largest multi-genre music events, has just revealed its second wave of artists for its 2025 edition, taking place from August 6-11.

Headlining this latest announcement are global superstars A$AP Rocky, Post Malone, and Shawn Mendes, promising to bring their electrifying performances to the festival’s main stages.

Electronic music fans will be thrilled to see a diverse range of talent joining the lineup. Indie-dance icon Caribou, the enigmatic techno artist horsegiirL, rising London DJ Ahadadream, and a powerful drum & bass duo Hedex B2B Bou are among the newly added electronic acts.

Beyond the headliners and electronic music, Sziget continues to showcase a wide spectrum of genres. Other new additions include alternative rap duo Joey Valence & Brae, New Zealand-to-NYC indie duo Balu Brigada, Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter Helado Negro, Ecuadorian-Swiss psych-rock group Hermanos Gutiérrez, Swedish hardcore band Refused, and many more.

These artists join an already impressive roster of previously announced headliners, including Anyma, Charli XCX, and Chappell Roan, as well as leading dance music figures like Justice, Armin van Buuren, Boris Brejcha, The Blessed Madonna, Brutalismus 3000, 999999999, and Hot Since 82. The full lineup, which is still growing, can be viewed below. Organizers have promised even more additions in the coming months.

With over 50 stages of varying sizes, the festival offers a diverse experience beyond music, including wellness activities, workshops, musical theater, comedy shows, and much more.
