REBiRTH Festival 2025 Review – The Ultimate Season Opener in the Netherlands

REBiRTH once again proved why it’s one of the most anticipated events in the hard dance calendar. Taking place from April 11–13 in Haaren, this year’s edition delivered everything you want from a season opener: heavy sets, creative stage designs, friendly vibes, and surprisingly good weather.

Vibes from the start

We kicked things off Sunday at 13:00 at the REBiRTH stage with Noiscult and it was an instant energy boost. From the first beat, diehards were already going full force. At REBiRTH, there’s no such thing as a slow start – the atmosphere was electric from the moment we stepped onto the grounds.

Crowd size? Perfect. It was busy enough to feel alive, but never too packed to move or enjoy the sets.

Stage design that tells a story

As always, REBiRTH delivered top-tier production. Each stage had its own identity:

  • A giant rubber duck at the RESiST stage
  • Comic book-style decorations around REACTiVATE
  • A surreal REVELATiON stage with giant 3D hands and hypnotic lighting

REBiRTH doesn’t just build stages – they build entire worlds. And they do it better than most.

Drinks, food &… prices

Bar access was smooth and food options were close by. Lines? Barely an issue. Prices, though, were a bit of a shock – €4 for a single token. If this is the trend for 2025, better budget ahead for the summer festivals!

Unexpectedly perfect weather

While forecasts called for rain, we were blessed with sunshine and a refreshing breeze. No sweating in sauna tents, no freezing outside. It was that rare festival weather where everything just works.

All stages, all styles

As a first-time REBiRTH visitor, I made it a mission to explore them all:

  • REBiRTH
  • REBELLION
  • REBALTiON
  • RESiST
  • REACTiVATE
  • #Beetjedansen
  • Road to REBiRTH

Each stage had its own flavor – from aggressive kicks to more laid-back dance grooves. There truly was something for everyone.

Musical highlights

Some personal standouts:

  • Gezellige Uptempo at RESiST – hilarious visuals, chaotic energy, and… poop masks?
  • Sickmode at the REBiRTH tent – crowd-favorite tracks like TAKE ME AWAY and TOO COLD sent the crowd wild
  • Final set of the night: Partyraiser vs Spitnoise – fireworks, visuals, confetti and a crowd that gave everything until the last beat

The crowd? Pure love

If one thing stood out beyond the music, it was the people. Friendly, chill, and united by their love for harder styles. Conversations were easy, smiles were everywhere, and the vibe felt like one big family.

If you’ve never been to REBiRTH – go. You’ll likely walk away just as impressed and grateful as I was.

Final verdict: REBiRTH sets the bar

Perfect weather, flawless production, powerful sets, and great people – REBiRTH 2025 nailed it. If this is the tone for the 2025 festival season, we’re in for something amazing. Let the madness begin.
