For the first time in years, Swedish House Mafia will not appear as a trio at Tomorrowland Belgium, leaving many fans disappointed and emotional. The iconic group — Axwell, Steve Angello, and Sebastian Ingrosso — has long been considered one of the defining acts of the festival’s history, making their absence particularly noticeable.
While Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso are both confirmed on the lineup, they will perform separately, not together as Swedish House Mafia. Axwell is completely absent from the Tomorrowland Belgium lineup this year, effectively ruling out any surprise SHM reunion on the Belgian stages.
For fans, this separation hits hard. Swedish House Mafia’s performances at Tomorrowland have historically been moments of collective euphoria, often blending nostalgia with cutting-edge production. Seeing the trio fragmented instead of united creates a sense of emptiness that’s difficult to ignore.
Tomorrowland 2026 still boasts a strong lineup packed with world-class talent, but the absence of SHM as a complete unit marks the end of an era — at least for this year. Whether this is a temporary pause or a sign of longer-term distance between the members remains unclear.
One thing is certain: Tomorrowland without Swedish House Mafia just doesn’t feel quite the same.
