Tomorrowland Builds New Mainstage After Fire: 70 Meters Wide, No Fireworks

Tomorrowland has confirmed the construction of a brand-new mainstage following the destruction of the original “Orbyz” stage by fire. According to reports from VRT, the new stage will be significantly smaller, measuring 70 meters in width and 8 meters in height.

Construction of the new stage began at 2:00 AM today, just hours after the remains of the previous stage were dismantled. A dedicated 200-person team is working around the clock to ensure the new structure is ready in time.

“It has to be impressive because we must accommodate tens of thousands of people,” said Frank Verstraeten, former Zillion owner and head of the company delivering the new stage setup.

Verstraeten also confirmed one major change to this year’s show: no fireworks.
“There will be no fireworks,” he stated. “I’m sure of that.”
