Tomorrowland 2025 will go ahead despite Mainstage fire
After the shocking fire that damaged the iconic Mainstage earlier this week, organizers of Tomorrowland 2025 have officially confirmed that the festival will take place as planned. Both Weekend 1 (July 18–20) and Weekend 2 (July 25–27) will go ahead in Boom, Belgium.
“Tomorrowland is happening,” organizers have confirmed.
“Het zal zonder main stage zijn, maar we gaan er een mooi festival van maken,”
which translates to:
“It will be without the Mainstage, but we’re going to make it a beautiful festival.”
Despite the fire that destroyed the iconic Mainstage, the production team is working tirelessly to adapt and deliver an unforgettable experience. All other stages remain intact, and adjustments are being made to the lineup and logistics to ensure the show goes on.
Fire contained, safety confirmed
The fire broke out during final preparations but was quickly brought under control by emergency services. No injuries were reported. An investigation is ongoing, and authorities have declared the site safe for continued operations.
Stage adjustments and enhanced safety
Organizers are actively repairing and reinforcing parts of the Mainstage and are prepared to relocate some performances if necessary. Other stages remain unaffected and ready. Safety protocols across the site are also being strengthened.
Statement from Tomorrowland
“The spirit of Tomorrowland is unbreakable. We will deliver the magic as promised and ensure a safe and unforgettable experience for everyone,” organizers stated.
